Citizens expressed who they were, what they do and why they are participating in these community forums.

 

All participants wished mainly to see a better Mineral County, concerns ranged from frustration with local government, homelessness, future projects, resources and how to succeed as a county.

 

The group was able to pair some folks with eachother that had either data, contacts or ideas fo the other citizens to use.  

 

Announced some upcoming public events:

     Disablility forum with state agencies, providers, county people and the citizens that need services--no date yet

     Grants workshop coming up spnsored by the MCEDA available to all parties that can pay the tuition to the grant training foundation.

 

     Problems identified were:

            Open Government

            Homeless

            Meth

            Growth not proper term

             Growth in Hawthorne should be defined as Recovery since we have been much larger in the past.
